Keeping Long Island Moving: The Story Behind South Bay Trucking Corp

South Bay Trucking Corp didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a strong work ethic, a deep knowledge of Long Island's roads, and a belief that local businesses deserve a freight partner they can actually count on. From those roots, we've built something we're genuinely proud of — a company that's woven into the daily life of the appliance and electronics industry across the region.

Our core work is delivering appliances and electronics — from a cooperative warehouse in Medford out to independently owned retail stores across Long Island and the surrounding area. We also move merchandise from brand warehouses directly to distributors, keeping the supply chain tight and reliable between manufacturers and the businesses that sell their products.

But we do more than drive freight from point A to point B. South Bay has a dedicated team that handles home deliveries for select independently owned appliance retailers on Long Island, in Brooklyn, and in Queens. We go inside. We set things up. We make sure the customer's new refrigerator, washer, or television is exactly where it needs to be before we leave.

We also work the trade show circuit across the Northeast — loading in, setting up, breaking down, and loading out appliances, electronics, and brand displays for manufacturers and distributors at events ranging from regular annual events to occasional regional pop-ups. It's demanding, detail-oriented work, and we're proud to be trusted with it.

Being a community-rooted, independently owned company means something to us. Our reputation is everything. The retailers we serve, the distributors we work with, the homeowners who welcome us into their houses — they deserve professionalism, care, and reliability every single time. That's not a slogan. It's how we operate.

Long Island is our home. These are our roads, our customers, our communities. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
